PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
Rachel Spooner
The Translational Motor Imaging Laboratory, is led by Dr. Rachel Spooner. The Translational Motor Imaging Lab focuses on understanding the underlying reasons for healthy and abnormal movement as we age. Dr. Spooner specializes in using state-of-the-art MEG analytical approaches, invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation, quantitative biological testing via blood samples, and comprehensive behavioral and clinical testing. The goal is to use this data to improve the diagnostic accuracy and efficacy of treatment outcomes for individuals exhibiting motor disturbances such as slowing or irregular movements across the lifespan..
