Dr. Gaelle Doucet received an NIH R01 grant to study developmental language disorder (DLD), affecting one in 14 children. Using MRI brain imaging, her five-year research will examine how executive function problems, particularly working memory deficits, contribute to language impairments in DLD children, potentially transforming diagnosis and treatment.
