Breakthrough Research: Dr. Gaelle Doucet Secures Prestigious NIH Funding to Transform Understanding of Developmental Language Disorder
Dr. Gaelle Doucet received an NIH R01 grant to study developmental language disorder (DLD), affecting one in 14 children. Using MRI brain imaging, her five-year research will examine how executive function problems, particularly working memory deficits, contribute to language impairments in DLD children, potentially transforming diagnosis and treatment.
